Cabin Crew - Air Arabia
Air Arabia seeks a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our Cabin Crew team. As an Air Arabia ambassador, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience throughout the flight cycle. Your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service while prioritizing passenger safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Ensure timely attendance, adhere to grooming standards, and maintain fitness and legal requirements for assigned flights. Actively participate in pre-flight briefings to receive flight details, understand role assignments, targets, security procedures, boarding protocols, and other critical information.
- Safety Measures: Provide passengers with comprehensive safety instructions, ensuring their well-being throughout the flight. Identify potential safety and security risks, collaborate with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administer first aid to passengers as needed. Promptly inform the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service: Welcome passengers and assist with boarding procedures, accurately entering relevant data into the aircraft logbook following Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA guidelines. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identify and assist passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to relevant policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other instructions. Contribute to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets. Ensure secure and proper handling of cash and credit card payments related to individual sales and donations.
- Crosschecking and Reporting: Conduct pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment are available before takeoff. Report any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate. Assist in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty free products are provided before departure. Oversee the orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff. Complete post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting any problems or discrepancies encountered during the flight, and closing and sealing duty free containers. Account to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and assume the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain. Maintain professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedure trainings, educational workshops, and ensuring current licenses. Contribute to team efforts by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Essential Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 to 30 years for candidates without previous experience as a Cabin Crew. Up to 33 years for Experienced Cabin Crew.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
- Weight: To be in proportion to Age and Height
- Appearance: Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Physical Fitness: Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
- Swimming Ability: Able to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable for this role. A diploma in Travel/Tourism is an advantage.
- Training: First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures training is highly valued.
- Health: Fit to fly with good general health, no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language Skills: Fluent in Written and Spoken English. Fluency in Arabic is preferred.
Experience:
- Previous Experience: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Previous experience as a cabin crew member or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality Industries is an advantage.
- License: An active cabin crew license is a plus.
- Work Flexibility: Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours. Demonstrate high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Performance: Demonstrated ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
