Cabin Crew - Air Arabia

Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member serves as Air Arabia's ambassador, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. They provide exceptional customer service to all passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. This role requires a commitment to operational efficiency, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Key Result Responsibilities:
- Conduct: The Cabin Crew member ensures timely attendance, maintains proper grooming, adheres to fitness standards, and fulfills all legal requirements for assigned flights. They actively participate in pre-flight briefings to ensure understanding of flight details, roles, targets, security procedures, boarding protocols, and other essential information.
- Safety Measures: The Cabin Crew member is responsible for instructing passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times. They proactively identify areas of safety and security risks, working collaboratively with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). They administer first aid to passengers when necessary and promptly report any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain as appropriate.
- Customer Service: The Cabin Crew member warmly welcomes passengers, assists with boarding formalities, and accurately records relevant data in the aircraft log book as per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA guidelines. They consistently provide exceptional customer service, addressing pre-bookings, requests, and individual needs. They identify and assist passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to the policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Revenue and Charity Initiatives: The Cabin Crew member contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by efficiently promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team targets. They ensure secure and proper handling of cash and credit card payments for individual sales and donations managed by them.
- Crosschecking and Reports: The Cabin Crew member conducts pre-flight checks to confirm the availability of sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified materials prior to takeoff. They promptly report any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate. They assist in ensuring a thorough cleaning of the aircraft cabin at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before departure. They maintain a seamless handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, or maintenance staff.
- Post-Flight Responsibilities: The Cabin Crew member participates in post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per established policies and procedures. They provide objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, report any flight-related problems or discrepancies, and ensure the closure and sealing of duty-free containers. They account to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and assume the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
- Professional Development: The Cabin Crew member continuously enhances their professional and safety knowledge and maintains competitiveness by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and ensuring their license remains current. They contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 to 30 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to Age and Height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically/ Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (diploma in Travel/ Tourism is a plus)
- Training in First Aid, Safety and Emergency Procedures (an added value)
- Fit to fly with good general health, no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality industries is a plus.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a shift pattern and for extended hours.
- High flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
