Aviation Pilot

The Aviation Pilot is responsible for ensuring aircraft and weather conditions are airworthy to transport medical crew and patient to a receiving hospital within an assigned operational area. He is responsible for compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and General Operations Manual (GOM) guidelines.

The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 2500 total flight hours, including at least 2000 flight hours in category and 1000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) in category. A minimum of 500 hours of rotor wing turbine time is also required.
