This position requires a pilot with a minimum of 2000 total flight hours, including at least 1500 hours in category, 1000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) in category, 500 hours of rotor wing turbine experience, and 200 hours of cross-country flight time, with a minimum of 50 hours at night. The pilot is responsible for verifying the airworthiness of the aircraft and assessing weather conditions to safely transport medical personnel and patients to the designated receiving hospital within their operational area. They must ensure full compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), the Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and the General Operations Manual (GOM) guidelines.
