Job Purpose
The primary objective of the Cabin Crew member is to ensure the safety, security, and comfort of all passengers. This includes delivering exceptional in-flight service, maintaining a professional demeanor, providing personalized guest care, and consistently enhancing the overall guest experience to meet and exceed global aviation benchmarks.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure strict adherence to all pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight safety and security protocols.
- Deliver superior in-flight service, offering comprehensive assistance to guests and catering to their specific needs.
- Proactively manage passenger comfort, adeptly resolving any complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Conduct mandatory safety demonstrations and provide crucial assistance to passengers during emergency situations.
- Maintain seamless communication and coordination with flight crew and ground staff to ensure efficient flight operations.
- Embody the airline's brand by representing Air India positively and upholding its esteemed reputation and core values at all times.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Exemplify professionalism, courtesy, and cultural sensitivity in representing Air India.
- Ensure full compliance with all Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) regulations, maintaining current licenses and certifications.
- Exhibit a warm, approachable, and empathetic demeanor when interacting with passengers.
- Meet all mandated medical fitness standards essential for flying duties.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective passenger engagement.
- Demonstrate the ability to remain calm, composed, and decisive during critical emergency situations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of service procedures, company policies, and current safety and security requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
Personal Attributes:
- Female Indian National.
- Must possess a current Indian passport, PAN card, and Aadhar card.
- Age between 18 and 27 years.
- Minimum height requirement: 155 cm.
- Weight: In proportion to height.
- Body Mass Index (BMI) Range: 18 to 22.
- Must be well-groomed with no visible tattoos while in uniform.
- Fluent in both English and Hindi.
- Vision: 6/6 (corrected or uncorrected).
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum Educational Qualification: Completion of Class 12 from a recognized board or university with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Experience: Freshers are eligible. Prior experience in customer service or the hospitality sector is advantageous. A preference will be given to candidates with 1-2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or aviation.
