Job Overview

The Cabin Crew will be responsible for carrying out safety, security, and service duties, ensuring a consistently high level of care to provide a world-class inflight experience.

Key Responsibilities

Safety and Security

  • Perform safety and security-related duties.
  • Verify the availability and functionality of safety equipment.
  • Conduct safety demonstrations for guests prior to take-off.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures throughout the flight.
  • Manage emergency situations, including administering first aid and performing emergency evacuations.

Inflight Service

  • Undertake pre-boarding tasks, such as checking the availability of food, beverages, and inflight amenity items.
  • Assist guests during boarding, including welcoming them, directing them to seats, and aiding with carry-on luggage storage.
  • Conduct inflight sales and service.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and replenishment of aircraft cabins and toilets during flights.
  • Make announcements and respond to guest inquiries during the flight.
  • Ensure the orderly disembarkation of guests after landing.

Administrative Duties

  • Attend mandatory pre-flight briefings.
  • Prepare reports on flight incidents, including safety, service, and security incidents.

Skills and Attributes

  • Represent Air India in a professional manner.
  • Exhibit a warm, caring, and empathetic demeanor.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current safety and security requirements.
  • Possess knowledge of service procedures and company policies.
  • Comply with all DGCA regulations and maintain required licenses.
  • Remain medically fit and adhere to rest regulations for flying duties.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be an Indian National holding a current Indian passport, PAN card, and Aadhar card.
  • Age requirement: 18 to 27 years for freshers, and up to 35 years for experienced crew.
  • Minimum Educational Qualification: Completion of Class 12 from a recognized board/university with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • Minimum Height: 155 cm for female candidates.
  • Weight: In proportion to height.
  • BMI Range: 18 to 22 for female candidates.
  • Must be well-groomed with no visible tattoos when in uniform.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi is required.
  • Vision: 6/6.
