Job Purpose

The Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for the airline, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image by enhancing the passenger experience. The role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the entire flight cycle. The incumbent must maintain professional fitness and productivity in alignment with company policies and established performance measures.

Key Result Responsibilities

Professional Conduct

  • Ensure timely attendance, professional grooming, and personal fitness for all assigned flights.
  • Participate in pre-flight briefings to confirm flight details, role distribution, performance targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.

Safety and Security

  • Provide comprehensive safety instructions to passengers to ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Identify safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Administer first aid to passengers when required.
  • Report irregularities and technical malfunctions promptly to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain.

Customer Service and Commercial Performance

  • Facilitate passenger boarding and document necessary data in the aircraft logbook per airline and civil aviation authority regulations.
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service by addressing individual passenger requests and pre-booked needs.
  • Assist passengers experiencing stress or difficulties in accordance with the Operations Manual.
  • Maximize on-board revenue and support the "Charity Cloud" program by promoting meals, products, and charitable initiatives to meet individual and team targets.
  • Manage the secure handling of cash and credit card payments for sales and donations.

Operational Reporting and Coordination

  • Conduct pre-flight inspections of supplies, emergency equipment, and catering equipment, reporting deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
  • Monitor cabin cleanliness at transit stations and verify adequate re-catering and duty-free inventory.
  • Manage the orderly handover of the cabin to catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel.
  • Complete post-flight briefing and assessment reports, including objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting of any flight discrepancies.
  • Account for passenger conduct and assume the duties of Cabin Supervisor when formally designated by the Captain.
  • Maintain professional competency through recurrent training, emergency procedure workshops, and by ensuring all licenses remain current.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered an asset.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is preferred.
  • Must be "fit to fly" with good general health and no serious medical or chronic conditions.
  • Presentable, friendly, with a cheerful and positive attitude under pressure.
  • Customer-service oriented with the ability to handle difficult situations and resolve passenger complaints professionally.
  • Strong analytical skills for identifying irregularities and managing threats or emergencies efficiently.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.

Work Experience

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience in cabin crew or customer service roles within the airline, aviation, or hospitality industries is an advantage.
  • An active cabin crew license is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work shift patterns, including extended hours, with high flexibility for changing schedules.
  • Proven ability to deliver results in alignment with company policies, procedures, and established KPIs.
