Job Purpose Overview

The Cabin Crew Specialist serves as the airline's essential brand ambassador, dedicated to achieving exceptional customer loyalty and projecting a positive corporate image by significantly enhancing the overall passenger experience. This crucial aviation role requires the provision of outstanding customer service while rigorously ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the complete flight cycle. The incumbent must maintain operational readiness and fitness to operate, ensuring peak productivity aligned with established company policies and all regulatory aviation procedures.

Key Result Responsibilities (KRR)

Operational Readiness and Safety Compliance

  • Ensures timely reporting, impeccable grooming, physical fitness, and legal validity documentation for all assigned flights.
  • Actively participates in pre-flight briefings to assimilate crucial flight details, understand role distribution, security protocols, and operational targets.
  • Meticulously instructs passengers on necessary safety procedures, maintaining their security and comfort at all times during the flight.
  • Proactively identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to initiate immediate remedial action in strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Competently administers immediate first aid to passengers requiring medical attention.
  • Promptly reports any operational irregularities or equipment malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain, as appropriate.

Exceptional Customer Experience and Service

  • Warmly welcomes and assists passengers through all boarding formalities, accurately logging necessary data into the aircraft log book compliant with aviation authority (GCAA/CAA) and company procedures.
  • Delivers constant, personalized, and excellent customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and passenger needs.
  • Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following corresponding guidelines detailed in the Operations Manual.
  • Significantly contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and promoting the “Charity Cloud” program by professionally marketing on-board meals, retail products, and charity services to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Ensures the secure and accurate handling of all cash and credit card transactions associated with sales and donations.

Aircraft Management and Reporting

  • Conducts comprehensive pre-flight checks to verify the sufficiency of emergency equipment, catering supplies, and other specified equipment, reporting any deficiencies immediately to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
  • Assists in maintaining the thorough cleanliness of the aircraft cabin at transit stations and verifies that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are stocked before departure.
  • Manages the orderly and complete handover or takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, or maintenance staff.
  • Carries out post-flight briefings and assessment reports as per adopted policies, including objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor (when required), reporting flight discrepancies, and securing duty-free containers.
  • Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for the conduct of passengers and acts as the designated Cabin Supervisor when assigned this duty by the Captain.
  • Commits to continuous professional development by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures courses, and educational workshops, ensuring the maintenance of a current professional license.

Candidate Requirements and Eligibility

Mandatory Physical and Appearance Standards

  • Age: Between 18 to 29 years for non-experienced crew and maximum 33 years for experienced crew.
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm for female candidates; 170 cm for male candidates.
  • Weight: Must be proportional to the candidate’s age and height.
  • Appearance: Clear skin is required with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the official Cabin Crew uniform.
  • Fitness: Candidates must be medically and physically fit to execute all required Cabin Crew duties.
  • Safety Requirement: Must possess the ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable. A diploma in Travel or Tourism is considered advantageous.
  • Professional Training: Previous training certifications in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures (SEP) are highly valued.
  • Health Status: Must be medically certified as 'Fit to Fly,' demonstrating good general health without serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is expected.
  • Language: Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory.
  • Work Experience: Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior experience as Cabin Crew or in a high-level customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is considered a significant asset.
  • Licensing: An active Cabin Crew license is highly advantageous.
  • Work Ethic: Candidates must be capable of working complex shift patterns and extended hours, demonstrating high flexibility and adaptability to frequent schedule changes and demanding operational schedules.
