Cabin Crew / Flight Attendant (Sharjah, UAE Base)

Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew member operates as the airline’s official ambassador, constantly striving to foster profound customer loyalty and project a positive corporate image at all times. The incumbent is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to all passengers while strictly ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the complete flight cycle. This role requires maintaining optimal readiness and fitness for operation, ensuring productivity measures align seamlessly with established company policies and procedures.
Key Result Responsibilities
I. Safety, Security, and Operational Readiness
- Ensures timely attendance, impeccable grooming, and continuous fitness and legality for all assigned flights.
- Participates actively in pre-flight briefings to confirm acknowledgement of flight details, role distribution, security checks, and specific boarding procedures.
- Instructs passengers comprehensively on all required safety procedures, guaranteeing passenger security and comfort throughout the journey.
- Identifies potential areas of safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement immediate remedial action in strict accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers essential first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any observed irregularities or equipment malfunctions.
II. Customer Experience and Commercial Focus
- Welcomes passengers upon boarding and provides assistance with formalities; accurately logs necessary data into the aircraft log book as per regulatory (GCAA/CAA) and airline procedures.
- Maintains a constant standard of excellent customer service by diligently attending to pre-bookings, requests, and individual passenger needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers who may be experiencing distress or difficulties, adhering to the corresponding policies detailed within the Operations Manual.
- Contributes significantly to maximizing on-board revenue and the ‘Charity Cloud’ program by efficiently promoting on-board meals, retail products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Ensures proper and secure handling, accounting, and reporting of all cash and credit card payments received from sales and donations.
III. Flight Operations, Crosschecking, and Reporting
- Conducts thorough pre-flight checks to verify the sufficiency of supplies, emergency equipment, catering materials, and other specified equipment prior to departure. Reports any deficiencies promptly to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is cleaned thoroughly at transit stations and verifies that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before subsequent flights.
- Manages the orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel.
- Carries out post-flight briefings and assessment reports as required by adopted policies, providing an objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight discrepancies, and ensuring the closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Is accountable to the Cabin Supervisor for the conduct of passengers and is prepared to carry out the full duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated to do so by the Captain.
- Maintains all necessary professional and safety knowledge, competitiveness, and current licensing by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures workshops, and educational courses.
- Contributes actively to team efforts by accomplishing related results and consistently achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Mandatory Requirements and Qualifications
Important Requirements
- Age: Must be between 20 and 33 years old.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm for Female candidates; 170 cm for Male candidates.
- Weight: Must be proportionate to age and height.
- Skin must be clear, with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the standard cabin crew uniform.
- Candidates must be medically and physically fit to perform all required Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device is essential.
Academic, Training, and Language Criteria
- A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a Diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered advantageous.
- Training certification in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is a significant added value.
- Candidates must possess good general health and be certified as fit to fly, with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Language: Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory.
Work Experience and Soft Skills
- Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply for this entry-level role.
- Previous professional experience as Cabin Crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries will be treated as an advantage.
- Possession of an active Cabin Crew license is highly beneficial.
- Candidates must be capable of operating on a rigorous shift pattern and adapting to extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent operational changes and busy flight schedules.
- Proven ability to successfully deliver against company policies, procedures, and established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
