Job Purpose: Brand Ambassador and Safety Professional
The Cabin Crew professional serves as a primary brand ambassador, consistently promoting a positive corporate image and fostering customer loyalty through exceptional service delivery. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of all passengers throughout the entire flight cycle. The incumbent is expected to maintain peak operational fitness and adhere strictly to established company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Key Result Responsibilities
Operational Conduct and Safety Compliance
- Ensuring meticulous pre-flight preparation, including timely attendance, impeccable grooming, and confirmed operational fitness and legality for assigned duties.
- Actively participating in pre-flight briefings covering flight details, role distributions, security measures, and boarding procedures.
- Instructing passengers clearly on all required safety procedures and maintaining continuous vigilance to ensure passenger comfort and security throughout the journey.
- Identifying potential safety or security risks and reporting them immediately to the Cabin Supervisor, initiating necessary remedial action in strict compliance with SOPs.
- Providing essential first aid assistance to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly communicating any technical irregularities or system malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain, as appropriate.
Customer Experience and On-board Revenue Maximization
- Delivering a superior customer experience, welcoming passengers warmly, and assisting with boarding formalities and necessary logbook entries in line with aviation authority (GCAA/CAA) standards.
- Proactively attending to individual passenger needs, requests, and pre-bookings with consistent excellence.
- Identifying and providing appropriate support to passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established guidelines detailed in the Operations Manual.
- Contributing significantly to maximizing on-board revenue generation and the "Charity Cloud" program by professionally promoting meals, products, and charitable services, thereby meeting individual and team sales targets.
- Ensuring the secure, accurate, and confidential handling of all cash and credit card payments received for sales and donations.
Crosschecking, Reporting, and Continuous Development
- Conducting comprehensive pre-flight checks of emergency equipment, catering supplies, and other specified equipment; reporting any deficiencies promptly to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Supervising transit operations, ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned, and verifying adequate re-catering and duty-free product provisions prior to subsequent flights.
- Executing orderly and complete handover/takeover procedures of the cabin with catering, cleaning, or maintenance staff.
- Participating in post-flight briefings and completing necessary assessment reports in accordance with policies, including objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and detailed reporting of flight discrepancies.
- Maintaining professional competency and regulatory knowledge by actively attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedure workshops, and ensuring the currency of required licenses.
- Contributing actively to overall team efficiency by achieving allocated sales objectives and accomplishing related results.
Essential Requirements and Qualifications
Physical Standards and Eligibility
- Age: Between 21 and 29 years for non-experienced crew, and a maximum of 33 years for experienced crew.
- Height: Minimum 160 cm for female applicants; minimum 170 cm for male applicants.
- Weight: Must be in proportion to age and height.
- Appearance: Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the standard Cabin Crew uniform.
- Fitness: Must be medically and physically fit to perform all Cabin Crew duties, maintaining good general health with no serious or chronic medical conditions.
- Mandatory Skill: Demonstrated ability to swim using a flotation device.
Academic Qualifications and Languages
- Education: A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is the minimum acceptable qualification. A diploma in Travel or Tourism is highly advantageous.
- Language Proficiency: Must be demonstrably fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Certifications: Training certifications in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures (SEP) are considered an added value.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
Work Experience and Core Competencies
