Role Summary
The Cabin Crew member serves as an essential ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to cultivating customer loyalty and upholding a positive corporate image. This role is pivotal in enhancing the overall customer experience by providing excellent service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout all flight phases. The ideal candidate remains fit, ready, and operates efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures punctuality, maintains impeccable grooming standards, confirms personal fitness, and verifies legality to operate assigned flights.
- Participates actively in pre-flight briefings to stay informed on flight specifics, role assignments, sales targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
- Instructs passengers on essential safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifies and reports potential safety and security risks to the Cabin Supervisor, collaborating on corrective actions aligned with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provides necessary first aid assistance to passengers during flight.
- Communicates any irregularities or malfunctions promptly to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain.
- Welcomes passengers warmly and assists with boarding processes, ensuring accurate data entry into the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Delivers consistently high standards of customer service, attentively addressing passenger pre-bookings, requests, and individual needs.
- Offers support and assistance to passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual.
- Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and supporting the "Charity Cloud" program by actively promoting meal services, retail products, and charitable initiatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Manages cash and credit card transactions securely for individual sales and donations.
- Conducts thorough pre-flight checks to confirm the availability of sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering items, and other specified equipment, reporting any deficiencies.
- Assists in ensuring the cleanliness of the aircraft cabin during transit and verifies adequate re-catering and duty-free stock.
- Facilitates an orderly handover and takeover of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel.
- Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports, providing objective feedback on the Cabin Supervisor and documenting any flight problems or discrepancies.
- Accounts for passenger conduct and is prepared to perform the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains required professional and safety knowledge through participation in recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and ensuring current licensing.
- Contributes effectively to team objectives, including achieving allocated sales targets.
Candidate Requirements
Important Requirements:
- Age between 20 and 30 years.
- Minimum height of 160 cm for females and 168 cm for males.
- Weight proportionate to age and height.
- Clear skin without visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform all Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered advantageous.
- Training certifications in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures are a plus.
- Must be fit to fly with good general health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience as Cabin Crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is beneficial.
- Possession of an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
