Cabin Crew (UAE Based)
Job Purpose
As a vital member of the airline's team, the Cabin Crew serves as an ambassador, dedicated to enhancing the overall customer experience, fostering passenger loyalty, and promoting a positive corporate image at all times. This role involves providing exceptional customer service to all passengers while diligently ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The Cabin Crew is expected to maintain operational readiness and fitness, ensuring productivity aligns with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
The Cabin Crew performs a range of duties critical to flight operations, passenger safety, and service excellence:
- Ensures timely attendance, maintains proper grooming standards, verifies physical fitness, and confirms legal readiness for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role distribution, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Instructs passengers on necessary safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the flight.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities; enters required data into the aircraft log book according to airline and regulatory procedures.
- Provides consistent, excellent customer service by attending to individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers who may be experiencing stress or difficulties, following detailed policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual.
- Actively contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program through the efficient promotion of on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received from sales and donations.
- Carries out pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items are on board before departure. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain as appropriate.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before subsequent flights.
- Ensures an orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
- Carries out post-flight briefings and assessment reports according to adopted policies and procedures, including providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight problems or discrepancies, and managing the closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Reports to the Cabin Supervisor regarding passenger conduct and performs the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and ensuring their license remains current.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.

Important Requirements
- Age: Between 20 to 33 years.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm for females, 170 cm for males.
- Weight: Must be in proportion to age and height.
- Appearance: Clear skin with no marks or tattoos that would be visible while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Fitness: Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties.
- Swimming Ability: Must be able to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)
- Education: A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable. A diploma in Travel or Tourism is considered an advantage.
- Training: Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
- Health: Must be fit to fly, possess good general health, and have no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Language: Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
Work Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for this role.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality Industries will be treated as an added value.
- An active cabin crew license is advantageous.
- Candidates must be capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Shows the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
