Cabin Crew Opportunity - Prague Recruitment Drive
Air Arabia is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join its cabin crew team. This vacancy is part of a recruitment drive being held in Prague, Czech Republic. Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall passenger experience. He/She provides exceptional customer service while ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The successful candidate will maintain readiness and fitness for duty, ensuring productivity aligns with established standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Ensures punctual attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight specifics, role assignments, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
- Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times. Identifies and reports safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administers first aid to passengers as needed. Informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions promptly.
- Customer Service: Greets passengers and assists with boarding, accurately entering data into the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures. Provides consistent, excellent customer service by addressing passenger pre-bookings, requests, and individual needs. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and related instructions. Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team sales targets. Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations managed by him/her.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified equipment are available prior to takeoff, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain. Assists in ensuring thorough aircraft cabin cleaning at transit stations and the provision of adequate re-catering and duty-free products. Facilitates the orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any problems or discrepancies during the flight, including closing and sealing of duty-free containers. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and assumes the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain. Maintains up-to-date professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent training sessions, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops, and by ensuring current license validity. Contributes to team success by achieving related results and allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20-30 years old.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male).
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height.
- Clear skin, free of visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is advantageous.
- Fit to fly with good general health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the airlines, aviation, or hospitality industries is considered an asset.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shifts and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
