Cabin Crew
Overview:
Air Arabia is seeking dedicated and professional Cabin Crew Members to join its team. As an ambassador for Air Arabia, the Cabin Crew Member is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety, comfort, and loyalty throughout the entire flight cycle. This role requires a proactive approach to promoting a positive corporate image and contributing to a superior customer experience. Successful candidates must be physically and mentally fit to operate, adhering strictly to company policies, procedures, and productivity measures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Air Arabia's ambassador, consistently enhancing the overall customer experience to achieve customer loyalty and promote a positive brand image.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the flight.
- Maintain personal readiness and fitness to operate assigned flights.
- Attend briefings to stay informed on flight details, role distribution, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Instruct passengers on safety procedures.
- Identify potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to take corrective action according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administer first aid to passengers as needed.
- Promptly report any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain.
- Welcome passengers and assist with boarding formalities.
- Provide consistent, excellent customer service, attending to individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identify and assist passengers experiencing stress or difficulties in accordance with operational procedures.
- Contribute to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by promoting meals, products, and charity services, working towards individual and team sales targets.
- Handle cash and credit card payments securely.
- Carry out pre-flight checks of supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified equipment.
- Report any equipment deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Assist in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned during transits and that adequate re-catering and duty-free stock are provided.
- Ensure orderly handover/takeover of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
- Conduct post-flight briefings and assessments according to company policies, including evaluating the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight issues, and securing duty-free items.
- Account to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct.
- Perform Cabin Supervisor duties when designated by the Captain.
- Maintain professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training, emergency procedure training, workshops, and ensuring a current license.
- Contribute to team goals and achieve allocated sales targets and objectives.
Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 and 30 years.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male).
- Weight: Must be in proportion to age and height.
- Clear skin free from visible marks or tattoos when wearing the uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required. A diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is considered an added value.
- Must be fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary.
- Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as Cabin Crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is an advantage.
- Holding an active cabin crew license is beneficial.
- Capable of working in a shift pattern, including extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Proven ability to contribute and successfully deliver against established policies, procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
