Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, committed to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. He or she enhances the overall customer experience by providing excellent service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The Cabin Crew member maintains readiness and fitness for duty, ensuring productivity aligns with established measures and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort. Identifies and addresses safety and security risks in collaboration with the Cabin Supervisor, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administers first aid to passengers when necessary. Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures. Provides exceptional customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following relevant policies and procedures in the Operations Manual and other instructions. Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets. Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for sales and donations.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure adequate supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items before takeoff, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain. Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before the next flight. Ensures orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight problems or discrepancies. Responsible for the closing and sealing of duty-free containers. Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and fulfills the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training, emergency procedure training, and educational workshops, ensuring current licensure. Contributes to team success by achieving related results and allocated sales targets and objectives.
Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 and 33 years.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male).
- Weight: Proportional to age and height.
- Appearance: Clear skin, free from visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Health: Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
- Swimming: Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
- Training: Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is highly valued.
- Health: Fit to fly, possessing good general health with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Previous cabin crew or customer service experience within the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is considered an asset.
- An active cabin crew license is advantageous.
- Ability to work in shift patterns and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Proven ability to contribute to and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and established KPIs.
