Cabin Crew Opportunity with Air Arabia

Air Arabia is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join its cabin crew team. As an ambassador for Air Arabia, the cabin crew member strives to achieve customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. The role provides excellent customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The ideal candidate is ready and fit to operate, ensuring productivity is in line with established measures and the company's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
  • Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Identifies safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to take remedial action according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
  • Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
  • Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft logbook as per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
  • Provides excellent customer service by attending to passengers' pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
  • Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following procedures outlined in the Operations Manual.
  • Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
  • Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for sales and donations.
  • Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering equipment, reporting deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
  • Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided.
  • Ensures orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
  • Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight problems or discrepancies, including closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
  • Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and carries out the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
  • Maintains professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops and ensuring current licensure.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.

Important Requirements:

  • Age: 20 to 33 years
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
  • Weight: Proportional to Age and Height
  • Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
  • Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
  • Ability to swim with a flotation device

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage.
  • Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Work Experience:

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous cabin crew or customer service experience in the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is an advantage.
  • Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended hours.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
