Cabin Crew Recruitment Drive - Madrid, Spain

Air Arabia is conducting a recruitment drive in Madrid, Spain, seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join its Cabin Crew team. The Cabin Crew member provides exceptional customer service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle, while maintaining productivity in line with company policies and procedures.

Job Purpose:

The Cabin Crew member acts as Air Arabia’s ambassador; strives to achieve customers’ loyalty and to promote a positive corporate image, at all times, through enhancing the overall customers’ experience. He/She provides excellent customer service to all passengers whilst ensuring their safety and comfort are achieved throughout the complete flight cycle. He/She must be ready and fit to operate ensuring productivity is in line with set measures and company’s adopted policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, roles, targets, and security procedures.
  • Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort. Identifies and reports safety and security risks, partnering with the Cabin Supervisor to take corrective action. Administers first aid when necessary. Informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
  • Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities. Enters necessary data into the aircraft log book. Provides excellent customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties. Promotes on-board meals, products, and charity services to maximize revenue and achieve targets. Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments.
  • Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies and functioning equipment, reporting any deficiencies. Assists in maintaining cabin cleanliness and adequate re-catering. Ensures orderly handover of the cabin to catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports, providing objective evaluations and reporting any discrepancies. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and performs the duties of ‘Cabin Supervisor’ when designated. Maintains professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training and workshops. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets.

Important Requirements:

  • Age: 20 to 30 years
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
  • Weight: Proportionate to age and height
  • Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the uniform
  • Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
  • Ability to swim with a flotation device

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage.
  • Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Work Experience:

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the airline, aviation, or hospitality industries is an advantage.
  • Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended hours.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
