Cabin Crew Recruitment Drive - Cyprus
Air Arabia is holding a recruitment drive in Cyprus for aspiring Cabin Crew members. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply online. Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. The individual consistently enhances the overall customer experience by providing exceptional service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout each flight. The Cabin Crew member maintains readiness and fitness for duty, ensuring productivity aligns with established metrics and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct
- Ensures punctual attendance, adheres to proper grooming standards, maintains fitness, and verifies legal compliance for assigned flights.
- Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
Safety Measures
- Instructs passengers on mandatory safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when required.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer Service
- Greets passengers warmly and assists with boarding formalities, accurately entering required data into the aircraft logbook in accordance with Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Delivers consistently excellent customer service by attending to individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and specific needs.
- Identifies and provides assistance to passengers experiencing stress or difficulty, adhering to relevant policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other applicable directives.
- Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charitable services, thereby achieving both individual and team goals.
- Ensures secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and managed donations.
Crosschecking and Reports
- Conducts pre-flight checks to verify adequate supplies, emergency equipment, catering provisions, and other designated equipment prior to departure; reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain, as necessary.
- Assists in ensuring thorough cleaning of the aircraft cabin at transit stations and confirms adequate restocking of catering and duty-free products before each flight.
- Ensures an organized and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight discrepancies.
- Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and assumes the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains current professional and safety knowledge by actively participating in recurrent training, emergency procedure training, and educational workshops, ensuring all licenses are up to date.
- Contributes to team success by achieving related results and meeting assigned sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements
- Age: Between 20 and 33 years.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male).
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height.
- Clear skin, free of visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications
- A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is highly valued.
- Fit to fly, possessing good general health with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Language: Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is considered an asset.
- An active cabin crew license is advantageous.
- Capable of working in a shift pattern and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and demanding schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
