Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. They provide exceptional customer service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The Cabin Crew member maintains readiness and fitness for duty, ensuring productivity aligns with established measures and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: The Cabin Crew member ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality for assigned flights. They attend briefings to acknowledge flight details, roles, targets, and security protocols.
- Safety Measures: They instruct passengers on safety procedures, identify potential safety risks, and collaborate with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). They administer first aid when necessary and promptly report irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain.
- Customer Service: They greet passengers and assist with boarding, enter necessary data into the aircraft log book, and provide attentive service, addressing individual needs and requests. They identify and assist passengers experiencing stress or difficulties according to company policies. They actively contribute to on-board revenue and charity programs by promoting meals, products, and services, striving to meet individual and team targets. They ensure the proper handling of cash and credit card payments.
- Crosschecking and Reports: The Cabin Crew member conducts pre-flight checks to ensure adequate supplies, emergency equipment, and catering, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain. They assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the aircraft cabin at transit stations and ensure adequate restocking of supplies. They oversee the handover of the cabin to cleaning and maintenance staff, carry out post-flight briefings and assessments, and provide objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor. They are responsible for reporting any issues that occur during flight and the proper sealing of duty-free containers. They also account to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and may assume the duties of Cabin Supervisor as directed by the Captain. They maintain professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training and workshops. They contribute to the team by achieving set sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to Age and Height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is a plus.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous cabin crew or customer service experience in the aviation/hospitality industries is preferred.
- Possession of an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Ability to work in shifts and for extended hours.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Ability to adhere to policies and procedures, and deliver against set KPIs.
