Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew member serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. They strive to enhance the overall customer experience by providing exceptional service while ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight. The successful candidate must maintain readiness and fitness for duty, ensuring productivity aligns with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, roles, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Identifies safety and security risks, partnering with the Cabin Supervisor for remedial action according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administers first aid to passengers when necessary. Informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions promptly.
- Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft logbook. Provides constant, excellent customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following the Operations Manual and relevant instructions. Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets. Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for sales and donations.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain. Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided. Ensures orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff. Carries out post-flight briefings and assessment reports, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, and reports any problems or discrepancies on the flight. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct, and performs the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain. Maintains professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops, ensuring a current license. Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to Age and Height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus)
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures (an added value)
- Fit to fly, with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Language: Fluent in written and spoken English
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in customer service within the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries (an added value).
- Active cabin crew license (an advantage).
- Capable of working in shifts and for extended hours.
- High flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute to and deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
