Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Identifies safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administers first aid when necessary. Informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions promptly.
- Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities. Enters required data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures. Delivers consistently excellent customer service by attending to pre-bookings, requests, and individual needs. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following policies and procedures in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions. Maximizes on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets. Ensures secure handling of cash and credit card payments received from sales and donations.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Performs pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified equipment are available; reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain. Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided. Ensures an orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight problems or discrepancies, including closing and sealing duty-free containers. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and assumes the duties of ‘Cabin Supervisor’ when designated by the Captain. Maintains professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops, and by ensuring current licensure. Contributes to team success by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to Age and Height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is an advantage.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
