Job Summary

The Cabin Crew Member serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, committed to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image through exceptional customer service. They ensure passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight, adhering to company policies and procedures while maintaining peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, and fitness for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, assigned roles, security checks, and boarding procedures.
  • Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Identifies and addresses safety and security risks in collaboration with the Cabin Supervisor, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures. Provides first aid when necessary. Informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
  • Customer Service: Greets passengers and assists with boarding procedures, entering necessary data in the aircraft logbook. Provides excellent customer service by attending to individual passenger needs and requests. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties according to established procedures. Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program through efficient promotion of on-board services. Ensures proper handling of cash and credit card transactions for sales and donations.
  • Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks of supplies and equipment, reporting any deficiencies. Assists in maintaining a clean cabin at transit stations and ensures adequate re-catering and duty-free supplies are provided. Ensures the orderly handover of the cabin to and from service staff. Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports, objectively evaluating the Cabin Supervisor, and reporting any flight discrepancies. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and may assume the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain. Maintains professional knowledge and competence through recurrent training programs and ensures current license. Contributes to team success by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.

Essential Requirements

  • Age: Between 20 and 33 years.
  • Height: Minimum 160 cm for females, 168 cm for males.
  • Weight: Proportionate to age and height.
  • Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties.
  • Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is desirable.
  • Good general health with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Work Experience

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is advantageous.
  • An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in shifts and for extended working hours.
  • High flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
