An Air Arabia Cabin Crew member serves as an ambassador for the airline, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image by consistently enhancing the overall customer experience. He/She provides exceptional customer service to all passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The Cabin Crew member is expected to be prepared and fit to operate, maintaining productivity in accordance with established standards, company policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, appropriate grooming, physical fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Safety Measures:
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service:
- Greets passengers and assists with boarding procedures, accurately entering required data into the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA standards.
- Delivers consistently excellent customer service by addressing passengers' pre-bookings, requests, and individual needs.
- Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following relevant policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other applicable guidelines.
- Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
- Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conducts pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items are available before takeoff; reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as needed.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before continuing the flight.
- Ensures an organized and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per established policies and procedures: Provides objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reports any issues or discrepancies during the flight, and ensures proper closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Informs the Cabin Supervisor about passenger conduct and assumes the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains current professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by participating in recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops, ensuring a valid license.
- Contributes to team success by achieving related results and meeting allocated sales targets and objectives.
Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to Age and Height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is considered an asset.
- Possession of an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and established KPIs.
