Cabin Crew Opportunity (Recruitment in Albania)
Air Arabia invites applications for the position of Cabin Crew as part of a dedicated recruitment drive in Albania. Only candidates available for assessments within Albania will be considered. Shortlisted applicants will receive an invitation with details regarding the assessment venue, time, and date, typically 2-3 days prior to the assessment day.
Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew serves as a key ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image by consistently enhancing the overall passenger experience. This role is fundamental to providing excellent customer service while prioritizing passenger safety and comfort throughout all stages of flight. The Cabin Crew is expected to maintain operational readiness and fitness, ensuring productivity aligns with company standards, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
The Cabin Crew performs a variety of critical duties to ensure successful and safe flight operations and outstanding customer service:
- Conduct and Readiness: Ensures punctuality, impeccable grooming, physical fitness, and legal readiness for all assigned flights. Actively participates in pre-flight briefings to review flight details, role assignments, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on essential safety procedures. Proactively identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administers first aid to passengers when necessary. Promptly reports any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain as appropriate.
- Customer Service Excellence: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding processes, including necessary administrative entries into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and regulatory procedures. Provides consistent, high-quality customer service, addressing individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifies and assists passengers who may be experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to guidelines outlined in the Operations Manual and relevant instructions. Actively contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program through effective promotion of meals, products, and charity services to achieve individual and team sales targets. Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card transactions for sales and donations.
- Checks and Reporting: Conducts thorough pre-flight checks to confirm adequate supplies, emergency equipment, catering provisions, and other specified equipment are present before departure. Reports any deficiencies identified to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain. Assists in verifying that the aircraft cabin is cleaned at transit stations and that catering and duty-free products are sufficiently restocked. Ensures orderly handovers to and takeovers from catering, cleaning, or maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports in line with established policies, providing objective feedback, reporting flight issues, and managing duty-free stock closure and sealing. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and is prepared to assume the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
- Professional Development: Maintains required professional and safety knowledge and skills by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops, and by ensuring licenses remain current. Contributes to overall team success by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following essential criteria:
- Age: Between 20 and 33 years.
- Height: Minimum 160 cm for female candidates, minimum 168 cm for male candidates.
- Weight: Must be proportionate to age and height.
- Appearance: Clear skin without visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Health: Medically and physically fit to perform the full range of Cabin Crew duties. Must possess good general health with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases, and be assessed as fit to fly.
- Swimming Ability: Capable of swimming with the aid of a flotation device.
- Flexibility: Capable of working in a shift pattern and extended hours; demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is the minimum acceptable qualification. A diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered advantageous.
- Training: Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is beneficial.
- Language: Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
- IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Previous experience as Cabin Crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation or Hospitality industries is highly valued. Possession of an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Performance: Demonstrates the ability to contribute effectively and achieve results in line with policies, procedures, and defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
