Cabin Crew Member - Albania Recruitment Drive

Air Arabia is conducting a recruitment drive in Albania for enthusiastic individuals to join its Cabin Crew team. This role requires candidates who are available for assessments within Albania.

Job Purpose:

The Cabin Crew Member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. This is achieved through consistently enhancing the overall customer experience. The role demands providing excellent customer service while ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The ideal candidate must be prepared and fit to operate, demonstrating productivity aligned with established measures and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct: The Cabin Crew Member must ensure timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Participation in briefings is crucial for understanding flight details, role assignments, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
  • Safety Measures: They are responsible for instructing passengers on safety procedures, guaranteeing their well-being and comfort. Identifying safety and security risks and collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor for corrective actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is essential. Administering first aid when needed and promptly reporting irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain are critical.
  • Customer Service: The role includes welcoming passengers and assisting with boarding, entering data in the aircraft logbook per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA guidelines. They provide superior customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. They assist passengers experiencing stress, following established procedures. They contribute to maximizing onboard revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by promoting meals, products, and charity services, striving to meet individual and team targets. The crew member also ensures the secure handling of cash and credit card payments.
  • Crosschecking and Reports: Pre-flight checks for sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering are mandatory, with any deficiencies reported to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain. The member assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided. They ensure orderly handover of the cabin to cleaning and maintenance staff. Post-flight briefings and assessment reports are essential, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting discrepancies, and sealing duty-free containers. They are responsible for reporting passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor, and may act as Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain. The crew member is expected to maintain professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training, and maintain a valid license. They contribute to team success by achieving sales targets and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Age: Between 20 and 33 years.
  • Height: Minimum 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male).
  • Weight: Proportionate to age and height.
  • Physical Appearance: Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the uniform.
  • Physical Fitness: Medically and physically fit for Cabin Crew duties.
  • Swimming Ability: Able to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications:

  • A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
  • First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures training is highly valued.
  • Good general health with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English.

Work Experience:

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience as cabin crew or in customer service within the airline, aviation, or hospitality industries is beneficial.
  • An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Must be capable of working in a shift pattern and for extended working hours.
  • Must exhibit high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to contribute to and deliver against policies, procedures, and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
