Cabin Crew Member

This role serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to cultivating customer loyalty and promoting a positive brand image. The Cabin Crew Member is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout each flight. The ideal candidate will be prepared and capable of maintaining productivity in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures timely attendance, appropriate grooming, and legal fitness for assigned flights. Participates in briefings to understand flight details, role assignments, targets, and security protocols.
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their well-being and comfort.
- Identifies and addresses safety and security risks in partnership with the Cabin Supervisor, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when required.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Welcomes and assists passengers during boarding, and accurately records necessary data in the aircraft logbook, following Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA guidelines.
- Delivers consistent, excellent customer service by addressing individual passenger needs, pre-bookings, and requests.
- Identifies and aids passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, in accordance with Operations Manual procedures.
- Actively contributes to onboard revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by promoting products and services to achieve individual and team targets.
- Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments from onboard sales and donations.
- Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure adequate supplies and equipment. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assists in maintaining cabin cleanliness at transit stations and ensures adequate restocking of catering and duty-free products.
- Ensures a smooth handover/takeover of the cabin with relevant staff.
- Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports, offering objective evaluations, and reporting discrepancies.
- Reports on passenger conduct and assumes Cabin Supervisor duties when assigned by the Captain.
- Maintains current professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent training, emergency procedure drills, and educational workshops, ensuring an active license.
- Contributes to team success by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Essential Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 and 33 years old.
- Height: Minimum 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male).
- Weight: In proportion to age and height.
- Clear skin, free of visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit for cabin crew duties.
- Ability to swim with a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is beneficial.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an asset.
- Good general health, with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is advantageous.
- An active cabin crew license is an added advantage.
- Ability to work in a shift pattern and for extended hours.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Proven ability to contribute and deliver against set policies, procedures, and KPIs.
