Air Arabia Cabin Crew Member - Kazakhstan Recruitment Drive

Job Purpose:

The Cabin Crew Member serves as a brand ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. They are committed to enhancing the overall customer experience by providing exceptional service while prioritizing passenger safety and comfort throughout every flight. The role requires the individual to be prepared and fit for duty, maintaining productivity in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct: Maintains timely attendance, adheres to grooming standards, ensures personal fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attends pre-flight briefings to acknowledge flight details, role allocations, targets, and security protocols.
  • Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their well-being and comfort at all times. Identifies safety and security risks, partnering with the Cabin Supervisor to address these in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Administers first aid when necessary. Informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions promptly.
  • Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding procedures, entering necessary data into the aircraft logbook. Provides excellent customer service, attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and passenger needs. Assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following relevant policies and procedures. Contributes to onboard revenue through the effective promotion of meals, products, and charity programs, meeting individual and team targets. Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received from sales and donations.
  • Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering materials, reporting any deficiencies. Assists in ensuring cabin cleanliness at transit stations and that adequate re-catering is completed. Ensures orderly handover of the cabin to and from catering, cleaning, or maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports, providing objective evaluations and reports on any discrepancies. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor regarding passenger conduct and performs Cabin Supervisor duties when designated by the Captain. Maintains professional and safety knowledge through regular training. Actively contributes to team goals, achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.

Important Requirements:

  • Age: 20 to 33 years old.
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male).
  • Weight: Proportionate to age and height.
  • Clear skin, with no visible tattoos or marks while in uniform.
  • Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties.
  • Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages):

  • Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is advantageous.
  • Fit to fly with good general health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Work Experience:

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the airlines, aviation, or hospitality industries is beneficial.
  • An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in shift patterns and for extended hours.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Capable of contributing and successfully delivering against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
