Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image by consistently enhancing the passenger experience. This individual delivers outstanding customer service, ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the entire flight. They maintain readiness and fitness for duty, aligning productivity with established standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct: Ensures punctual attendance, impeccable grooming, and legal and physical fitness for all assigned flights. Attends briefings to understand flight details, role assignments, targets, and security/boarding procedures.
- Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort. Identifies safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor for corrective action according to Standard Operating Procedures. Administers first aid when necessary and promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, accurately recording data in the aircraft logbook per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA protocols. Provides exceptional, personalized service to passengers, addressing individual requests and needs. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulty, adhering to relevant procedures. Actively promotes onboard sales, including meals, products and "Charity Cloud," maximizing revenue and achieving individual and team targets. Ensures proper handling of cash and credit card transactions for sales and donations.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks of supplies, emergency equipment, and catering, reporting deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain. Assists in maintaining cabin cleanliness at transit stations, ensuring adequate re-catering and duty-free supplies. Ensures a complete and orderly handover of the cabin to/from relevant staff. Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports, providing an objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight issues or discrepancies. Reports passenger conduct and acts as "Cabin Supervisor" when designated. Maintains current professional and safety knowledge via recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and workshops. Contributes to team performance by achieving sales targets.
Important Requirements
- Age: 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to age and height
- Clear skin, free of marks or visible tattoos while in uniform
- Medically and physically fit for Cabin Crew duties
- Capable of swimming with a flotation device
Qualifications
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is beneficial.
- Fit to fly, in good general health, with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as Cabin Crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is considered an advantage.
- An active Cabin Crew license is advantageous.
- Ability to work in shift patterns and extended hours.
- High flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute effectively and consistently deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
