Air Arabia is conducting a recruitment drive in Austria and seeks dedicated professionals for the role of Cabin Crew. Candidates must be available for assessments in Vienna.
This position serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, requiring a commitment to customer loyalty and the promotion of a positive corporate image. The Cabin Crew Member will provide exceptional customer service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout all phases of flight operations. The role demands consistent readiness, fitness, and productivity in adherence to company policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
Conduct:
- Ensuring timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights.
- Attending briefings to acknowledge flight details, roles, targets, and safety protocols.
Safety Measures:
- Instructing passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their well-being at all times.
- Identifying safety and security risks and collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor for remedial action.
- Administering first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informing the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer Service:
- Welcoming passengers and assisting with boarding formalities, including data entry in the aircraft log book.
- Providing consistent, excellent customer service, attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifying and assisting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to operational guidelines.
- Contributing to on-board revenue by promoting meals, products, and charity services, and achieving sales targets.
- Ensuring secure handling of cash and credit card payments.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conducting pre-flight checks to ensure adequate supplies and functioning emergency equipment; reporting any deficiencies.
- Assisting in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that supplies are replenished.
- Overseeing orderly handover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
- Completing post-flight briefing and assessment reports, including cabin supervisor evaluations and incident reports.
- Reporting on passenger conduct and carrying out Cabin Supervisor duties when designated by the Captain.
- Maintaining professional knowledge and skills through ongoing training, ensuring current licensing.
- Contributing to team efforts by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male).
- Weight proportionate to age and height.
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous cabin crew or customer service experience in the airline, aviation, or hospitality industries is beneficial.
- Active cabin crew license is advantageous.
- Ability to work in shift patterns and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Proven ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
