Cabin Crew
Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, consistently working to build customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. The role is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The Cabin Crew is expected to be prepared and physically fit to operate, ensuring productivity aligns with set measures and company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, maintaining proper grooming, fitness, and legality for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role distribution, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, etc.

Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on necessary safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Identifies potential safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administers first aid to passengers when required. Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.

Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities. Provides continuous excellent customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to relevant policies and procedures detailed in the Operations Manual and other instructions. Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the ‘Charity Cloud’ program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team targets. Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments for sales and donations.

Checks and Reporting: Conducts pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items before take-off, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain as appropriate. Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are supplied before departure. Ensures orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff. Carries out post-flight briefings and assessment reports as per adopted policies and procedures, including objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight problems or discrepancies, and closing/sealing duty-free containers. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and performs the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.

Professional Development: Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and ensuring current licensure. Contributes to team effort by achieving related results and allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements
- Age: Between 20 and 30 years.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male).
- Weight: To be in proportion to age and height.
- Appearance: Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Fitness: Medically and physically fit to perform all cabin crew duties.
- Swimming: Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications
- Education: A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
- Training: Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is considered an added value.
- Health: Must be fit to fly, possess good general health, and have no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
Work Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality Industries is considered an added value.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in a shift pattern and extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Shows the ability to contribute to and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
