Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to achieving customer loyalty and promoting a positive brand image. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight experience. The ideal candidate will maintain readiness and fitness for duty, ensuring productivity aligns with established company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Maintains timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for all assigned flights. Attends briefings to ensure understanding of flight details, assigned roles, targets, and security protocols.
- Safety Measures: Educates passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their well-being. Identifies and reports safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor for remedial action. Provides first aid when necessary. Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service: Greets passengers and assists with boarding, entering necessary data into the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA guidelines. Provides consistently excellent service, attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties per the Operations Manual. Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by promoting in-flight meals, products, and charity services to achieve individual and team goals. Ensures accurate handling of cash and credit card payments from sales and donations.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks to confirm sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering, reporting deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain. Assists in maintaining a clean cabin at transit locations. Ensures organized handover/takeover with catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports, offering objective evaluations, reporting issues, and sealing duty-free containers. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor regarding passenger conduct and carries out Cabin Supervisor duties when designated. Maintains professional knowledge by attending required trainings, and ensuring a current license.
- Teamwork: Contributes to team success by accomplishing related duties and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 30 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin, free of visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit for cabin crew duties
- Ability to swim with a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (Travel/Tourism diploma preferred).
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures (an advantage).
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience as cabin crew or in customer service within the airline, aviation, or hospitality sectors is an advantage.
- Possession of an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Ability to work shifts and extended hours.
- Demonstrated adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Ability to deliver against policies, procedures, and established KPIs.
