Cabin Crew / Flight Attendant Opportunity - Bratislava Recruitment Drive

Job Purpose

The Cabin Crew member serves as a key ambassador, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image at all times. This is achieved by enhancing the overall customer experience. The role involves providing excellent customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the complete flight cycle. The Cabin Crew member must be ready and fit to operate, ensuring productivity aligns with set measures and company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures punctual attendance, maintains proper grooming standards, and verifies fitness and legality for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, understand role distribution, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
  • Instructs passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
  • Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
  • Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft log book as per adopted procedures.
  • Delivers consistent excellent customer service, attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
  • Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to relevant policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other instructions.
  • Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and supporting the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team targets.
  • Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received from individual sales and donations.
  • Conducts pre-flight checks to confirm sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items are available before take-off. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
  • Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before flying.
  • Ensures orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
  • Carries out post-flight briefings and assessment reports according to adopted policies and procedures. Provides objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reports any flight problems or discrepancies, and ensures the closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
  • Reports on the conduct of passengers to the Cabin Supervisor and performs the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
  • Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops, ensuring their license remains current.
  • Contributes to overall team effort by achieving related results and meeting allocated sales targets and objectives.

Important Requirements

  • Age: Between 20 to 30 years
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
  • Weight: To be in proportion to Age and Height
  • Clear skin with no marks or tattoos visible while wearing the cabin crew uniform
  • Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
  • Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device

Qualifications

  • A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable for this role; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered an asset.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
  • Must be fit to fly, possess good general health, and have no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.

Work Experience

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation or Hospitality industries is considered an added value.
  • Possession of an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Must be capable of working in shift patterns and for extended hours.
  • Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
