Cabin Crew Recruitment Drive - Bratislava, Slovakia
Air Arabia is conducting a recruitment drive in Bratislava, Slovakia, seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join their cabin crew team. Shortlisted candidates will receive an invitation email with details of the venue, time, and date 2-3 days prior to the assessment.
The Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to achieve customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. The successful candidate provides excellent customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. They must be ready and fit to operate, ensuring productivity aligns with established measures and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Ensuring timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality for assigned flights. Attending briefings to acknowledge flight details, role distribution, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Safety Measures: Instructing passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Identifying safety and security risks and collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administering first aid when necessary. Promptly informing the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service: Welcoming passengers and assisting with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft log book as per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures. Providing exceptional customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifying and assisting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions. Contributing to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets. Ensuring proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Conducting pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering equipment. Reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain. Assisting in maintaining a thoroughly cleaned aircraft cabin at transit stations and ensuring adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided. Ensuring orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff. Preparing post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight problems or discrepancies, and ensuring proper closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Accounting to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct; performing the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain. Maintaining professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and license maintenance. Contributing to team success by achieving related results, allocated sales targets, and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20-30 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is advantageous.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the airlines, aviation, or hospitality industries is a plus.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shifts and for extended hours.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
