Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. He/She provides exceptional customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The ideal candidate is prepared and fit to operate, ensuring productivity aligns with established standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and compliance for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, roles, targets, and security protocols.
- Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort. Identifies and reports safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administers first aid when necessary and promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding procedures, entering necessary data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA guidelines. Provides excellent customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures. Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team sales targets. Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering equipment, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain. Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided. Ensures orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight discrepancies. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and assumes the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain. Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge through recurrent trainings, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops, ensuring current licensure. Contributes to team success by accomplishing related tasks and achieving allocated sales targets.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 30 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added advantage.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Language: Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the airlines, aviation, or hospitality industries is considered an asset.
- Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and deliver successfully against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
