This role serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. The individual will enhance the overall customer experience by providing excellent service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout each flight. The successful candidate will maintain readiness and fitness for duty, adhering to company policies and procedures to maximize productivity.
Key responsibilities include ensuring timely attendance, proper grooming, and fitness for assigned flights. The individual will attend briefings to gain a comprehensive understanding of flight details, role assignments, security protocols, and boarding procedures. Safety measures are paramount, and the crew member will instruct passengers on safety procedures, identify potential risks, and take appropriate action in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). They will also administer first aid when necessary and promptly inform the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer service is a core focus, involving welcoming and assisting passengers with boarding, as well as attending to individual needs and requests. They will provide support to passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, promoting on-board sales, and managing cash and credit card transactions. The role also requires conducting pre-flight checks to ensure adequate supplies and equipment and reporting any discrepancies. Post-flight duties include assisting with cabin cleanliness, ensuring proper handovers between teams, completing assessment reports, and accounting for passenger conduct. This person must also maintain up-to-date safety knowledge through training and possess current licenses. The successful candidate will contribute to team efforts, achieving sales targets and objectives.
Important requirements for this role include being between 20 and 30 years of age, with a minimum height of 160 cm for females and 168 cm for males. The weight must be proportional to age and height. Candidates must have clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while in uniform and be medically fit to perform cabin crew duties, including the ability to swim with a flotation device.
A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is an advantage. Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is beneficial. Applicants should be fit to fly with no serious medical conditions and proficient in Microsoft Office. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Previous cabin crew or customer service experience in the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality Industries is valuable. An active cabin crew license is an advantage. The candidate must be able to work in shifts, for extended hours, and show high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules. They will demonstrate the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
