Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. He/She provides exceptional customer service to all passengers while prioritizing their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The Cabin Crew member must maintain readiness and fitness for duty, ensuring productivity aligns with established standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, roles, targets, and security procedures.
- Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort. Identifies and reports safety and security risks, partnering with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions. Administers first aid to passengers when necessary. Informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of irregularities or malfunctions promptly.
- Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding procedures, accurately entering data into the aircraft log book. Delivers consistent and excellent customer service by addressing individual requests and needs. Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to relevant policies and procedures. Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting meals, products, and charity services to achieve individual and team targets. Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified items. Reports deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain. Assists in maintaining a clean aircraft cabin at transit stations, ensuring adequate re-catering and duty-free supplies are available. Ensures an orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports, providing objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight problems or discrepancies, and ensuring proper sealing of duty-free containers.
- Accounts to Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and fulfills Cabin Supervisor duties when designated by the Captain. Maintains professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training, emergency procedure training, and educational workshops, ensuring a current license. Contributes to team success by accomplishing related tasks and meeting allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 30 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in customer service within the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is advantageous.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shifts and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
