Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. He/She provides exceptional customer service to all passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. He/She must be ready and fit to operate, maintaining productivity in accordance with established measures and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Ensures punctual attendance, appropriate grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Safety Measures:
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures to ensure their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifies safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service:
- Greets passengers and assists with boarding formalities, accurately entering required data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Delivers consistent, excellent customer service by attending to passengers' pre-bookings, requests, and individual needs.
- Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant directives.
- Maximizes on-board revenue and supports the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for sales and donations.
- Crosschecking and Reports:
- Performs pre-flight checks to confirm sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items before departure, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before continuing the flight.
- Ensures orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight-related problems or discrepancies, including the closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and assumes the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains current professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by participating in recurrent training, emergency procedure drills, and educational workshops, ensuring all licenses are up to date.
- Contributes to team success by achieving related results and allocated sales targets.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20-30 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin, free of visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the airline, aviation, or hospitality industries is considered a plus.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
