Air Arabia Cabin Crew Position – Bangladesh Recruitment
Air Arabia seeks a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join its cabin crew team in Bangladesh. This role requires candidates readily available for assessments within Bangladesh. The successful candidate will serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring passenger safety, comfort, and a positive overall flight experience. Efficiency and adherence to company policies and procedures are paramount.
Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member will act as Air Arabia's ambassador, prioritizing customer loyalty and projecting a positive corporate image through exceptional customer service. Responsibilities encompass ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle while maintaining operational productivity aligned with established metrics and company protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and Safety:
- Ensures timely arrival, adheres to grooming standards, maintains personal fitness, and complies with all legal requirements for assigned flights. Actively participates in pre-flight briefings, understanding flight details, assigned roles, targets, security procedures, and boarding protocols.
- Provides clear and concise safety instructions to passengers, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
- Proactively identifies safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers as needed.
- Immediately reports any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and/or Captain, as appropriate.
Customer Service:
- Provides a warm welcome to passengers, assisting with boarding formalities and accurately recording necessary data in the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Consistently delivers exceptional customer service, addressing passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to relevant policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other directives.
- Contributes to revenue maximization and the success of the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charitable services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensures secure handling of cash and credit card payments for all sales and donations.
Cross-checking and Reporting:
- Conducts pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified items; reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assists in ensuring thorough cabin cleaning at transit stations and adequate re-catering and duty-free product replenishment before departure.
- Facilitates orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance personnel.
- Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures; provides objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor's performance, reports any flight-related problems or discrepancies, and secures duty-free containers.
- Reports passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and performs Cabin Supervisor duties when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains current professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training, emergency procedure training, educational workshops, and license renewal.
- Contributes to team success by achieving assigned sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20-33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to age and height
- Clear complexion, free from visible marks or tattoos while wearing the uniform.
- Excellent physical and medical fitness for cabin crew duties.
- Ability to swim with a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous).
- First Aid, safety, and emergency procedure training preferred.
- Excellent general health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the airline, aviation, or hospitality industries is highly valued.
- A current active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Ability to work shifts and extended hours.
- High flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and demanding schedules.
- Proven ability to adhere to and successfully deliver against established policies, procedures, and KPIs.
