Job Summary

The Cabin Crew member serves as an essential ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and projecting a positive corporate image through an exceptional passenger experience. The role involves providing outstanding customer service while rigorously ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. A key responsibility is maintaining personal readiness and fitness for operation, aligning productivity with established measures, company policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Preparedness: Ensuring timely attendance, maintaining proper grooming, physical fitness, and legality for assigned flights. Actively participating in briefings to understand flight details, role distribution, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
  • Safety & Security: Instructing passengers effectively on safety procedures to guarantee their well-being and comfort. Identifying potential safety and security risks and collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administering first aid as required. Promptly reporting any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Warmly welcoming passengers and assisting with boarding formalities. Entering necessary data into the aircraft log book according to established procedures. Consistently delivering excellent customer service by addressing pre-bookings, requests, and individual passenger needs. Identifying and assisting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties in line with operational manuals and relevant instructions.
  • On-Board Sales & Reporting: Contributing to maximizing on-board revenue and supporting charitable initiatives by effectively promoting meals, products, and services, thereby achieving individual and team sales targets. Ensuring the secure handling of cash and credit card payments for sales and donations.
  • Checks & Documentation: Conducting thorough pre-flight checks of supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified items, reporting any deficiencies. Assisting in maintaining cabin cleanliness at transit stations and ensuring adequate re-catering and duty-free stock. Managing orderly handover and takeover processes with catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff. Completing post-flight briefings and assessment reports, providing objective evaluations, reporting discrepancies, and sealing duty-free containers. Accounting to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and performing Cabin Supervisor duties when designated by the Captain.
  • Professional Development: Maintaining professional and safety knowledge through participation in recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops, ensuring current license validity. Contributing to team success by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.

Important Requirements

  • Age: Between 20 and 33 years.
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male).
  • Weight: Must be in proportion to age and height.
  • Skin: Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Fitness: Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
  • Swimming Ability: Capable of swimming with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications

  • Education: Holds a Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate. A diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
  • Training: Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
  • Health: Must be fit to fly, possess good general health, with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Language: Fluent in both written and spoken English.

Work Experience & Skills

  • Experience: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Previous experience as Cabin Crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is considered an added value.
  • Licensing: An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Flexibility: Capable of working shift patterns and extended hours. Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and demanding schedules.
  • Performance: Proven ability to contribute effectively and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
