Cabin Crew - Air Arabia
Air Arabia seeks a highly motivated and service-oriented individual to join its growing team in Azerbaijan as a Cabin Crew member. This role offers the opportunity to represent Air Arabia as an ambassador, fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image.
Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member will act as a brand ambassador, exceeding customer expectations and creating a positive travel experience. Responsibilities include ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the flight, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a professional and efficient cabin environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player, committed to upholding company policies and procedures, and dedicated to achieving productivity goals.
Key Result Responsibilities:
Conduct:
- Ensure timely arrival, adhering to grooming standards and maintaining legal fitness for assigned flights.
- Attend pre-flight briefings to understand flight details, role assignments, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
Safety Measures:
- Provide clear instructions on safety procedures, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort at all times.
- Identify potential safety and security risks and collaborate with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administer first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly report any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain, as appropriate.
Customer Service:
- Welcome passengers and assist with boarding formalities, accurately recording data in the aircraft logbook as per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA regulations.
- Provide consistent, exceptional customer service, addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identify and support passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following the guidelines outlined in the Operations Manual and relevant instructions.
- Contribute to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting in-flight meals, products, and charitable services, achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Ensure secure handling of cash and credit card payments for individual sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conduct pre-flight checks to confirm sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items; report any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assist in ensuring thorough cabin cleaning at transit stations and adequate re-catering and duty-free products are available before departure.
- Oversee orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Complete post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per established policies and procedures, objectively evaluating the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight-related issues or discrepancies. Secure and seal duty-free containers.
- Account for passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and assume the role of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- Maintain professional and safety knowledge through recurrent trainings, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and license renewal.
- Contribute to team efforts by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 and 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin, free of visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically/physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is highly valued.
- Fit to fly, with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in Written and Spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality Industries is an asset.
- An active cabin crew license is a benefit.
- Ability to work in shift patterns and for extended hours.
- Strong flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Proven ability to effectively contribute to and deliver against company policies, procedures, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
