About the Role:
As a Cabin Crew Member, the individual serves as a vital ambassador for the airline, dedicated to cultivating customer loyalty and upholding a positive corporate image at all times. This role is centered on enhancing the overall customer experience by providing exceptional service while rigorously ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the entire flight cycle. The successful candidate is expected to be consistently ready and fit for operation, maintaining productivity in alignment with established standards and company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Cabin Crew Member include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring timely attendance, maintaining impeccable grooming standards, physical fitness, and legal readiness for assigned flights.
- Actively participating in pre-flight briefings to acknowledge flight details, understand role distribution, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, and other essential information.
- Instructing passengers on crucial safety procedures, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the flight.
- Identifying potential areas of safety and security risks and collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administering necessary first aid to passengers as required.
- Promptly reporting any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain as appropriate.
- Welcoming passengers and assisting with boarding formalities, including entering necessary data into the aircraft log book in accordance with adopted procedures.
- Consistently providing excellent customer service by attending to individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifying and assisting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to relevant policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual.
- Contributing significantly to maximizing on-board revenue and supporting the designated "Charity Cloud" program through the efficient promotion of on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Ensuring the proper and secure handling of all cash and credit card payments received from individual sales and donations managed by the role holder.
- Conducting thorough pre-flight checks to confirm sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items are available before departure. Reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assisting in ensuring the aircraft cabin is meticulously cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provisioned before subsequent flights.
- Ensuring an orderly and complete handover or takeover of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
- Completing post-flight briefings and assessment reports according to adopted policies and procedures, including providing objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor (where applicable), reporting flight problems or discrepancies, and ensuring the proper closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Reporting to the Cabin Supervisor regarding passenger conduct and assuming the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
- Maintaining required professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness through consistent attendance at recurrent training, emergency procedure training, and educational workshops, and by ensuring current licenses are held.
- Actively contributing to the overall team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Essential Requirements:
- Age between 20 and 33 years.
- Minimum height of 160 cm for females and 168 cm for males.
- Weight proportional to age and height.
- Clear skin without visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform all Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel or Tourism is considered advantageous.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is a valuable asset.
- Must be fit to fly, possess good general health, and have no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory.
Work Experience:
- Applications from fresh graduates are welcomed.
- Previous experience in a cabin crew role or in a customer service capacity within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality Industries will be considered an added value.
- Holding an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Must be capable of working flexible shift patterns, including potentially extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and demanding schedules.
- Possesses the ability to contribute effectively and successfully deliver against company policies, procedures, and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
