Cabin Crew - Air Arabia

Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew member serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image. This role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to operating efficiently and adhering to established policies and procedures to ensure optimal productivity.
Key Result Responsibilities
Conduct:
- Ensures timely attendance, adheres to proper grooming standards, maintains physical fitness, and complies with all legal requirements for assigned flights.
- Actively participates in pre-flight briefings to confirm flight details, understand role assignments, review targets, and ensure thorough security checks, boarding procedures, and other relevant information.
Safety Measures:
- Provides clear and concise instructions to passengers regarding safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Proactively identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to take appropriate remedial action in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers as needed.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer Service:
- Extends a warm welcome to passengers and assists with boarding formalities, accurately entering necessary data into the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Provides consistent and exceptional customer service, addressing individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Contributes to maximizing onboard revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by efficiently promoting onboard meals, products, and charity services, striving to achieve individual and team targets.
- Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations managed by the Cabin Crew member.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment are available before takeoff. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before departure.
- Ensures orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to adopted policies and procedures. This includes providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting any problems or discrepancies on the flight, and closing and sealing duty-free containers.
- Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct. When designated by the Captain, the Cabin Crew member performs the duties of the Cabin Supervisor.
- Maintains professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, educational workshops, and ensuring their license is up-to-date.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements
- Age: 20 to 30 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: To be in proportion to Age and Height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable for this role. A diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures are an added value.
- Must be medically fit to fly, possess good general health, and have no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Fluent in Written and Spoken English.
Work Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for this role.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality Industries is an added value.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Must be capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Shows high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
