Air Arabia Cabin Crew Position

Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member serves as Air Arabia's ambassador, fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. This role involves enhancing the overall customer experience by providing excellent service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. Cabin Crew members are expected to be prepared and fit to operate, maintaining productivity in line with established measures and the company's adopted policies and procedures.
Key Result Responsibilities:
Conduct:
- Ensures timely attendance, adheres to proper grooming standards, maintains fitness, and complies with legal requirements for assigned flights.
- Participates in pre-flight briefings to acknowledge flight details, understand role distribution, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, and other relevant information.
Safety Measures:
- Informs passengers on safety procedures to be followed, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer Service:
- Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, recording necessary data in the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Provides consistent excellent customer service by attending to passengers' individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to relevant policies and procedures detailed in the Operations Manual and other applicable instructions.
- Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and promoting the "Charity Cloud" program by efficiently promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, thus achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment prior to take-off. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before departure.
- Ensures an orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to adopted policies and procedures, providing an objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting any problems or discrepancies on the flight, and closing and sealing duty-free containers.
- Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and assumes the role of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, educational workshops, and ensuring current licensing.
- Contributes to team effort by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 and 30 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to Age and Height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages):
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is considered an added value.
- Fit to fly with good general health, no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Fluent in Written and Spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality Industries is considered an added value.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Shows the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
