Cabin Crew Member
An ambassador for Air Arabia, the Cabin Crew Member strives to cultivate customer loyalty and enhance the overall passenger experience while upholding a positive corporate image. This individual provides exceptional customer service, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. They maintain a state of readiness and fitness, ensuring productivity aligns with company standards and established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Maintains timely attendance, appropriate grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for all assigned flights. Attends pre-flight briefings to receive flight details, role assignments, targets, security instructions, and boarding procedures.
- Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on necessary safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Identifies and reports safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions according to standard operating procedures. Administers first aid when necessary. Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding procedures, recording necessary data in the aircraft logbook per established guidelines. Delivers consistent, excellent service by attending to individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to relevant policies and procedures. Contributes to maximizing onboard revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting onboard meals, products, and charity services, thus achieving individual and team sales targets. Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments for onboard transactions.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks of supplies, emergency equipment, and catering, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain. Assists in maintaining cabin cleanliness at transit stations and ensures adequate re-catering and duty-free products are available. Facilitates the orderly handover/takeover of the cabin with catering, cleaning, or maintenance personnel. Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports per company procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting discrepancies, and sealing duty-free containers. Reports on passenger conduct and assumes 'Cabin Supervisor' duties when designated by the Captain. Maintains professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent training, emergency procedure training, and educational workshops, ensuring current license validity. Contributes to team success by accomplishing related tasks and achieving allocated sales goals.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 30 years for candidates without prior cabin crew experience; up to 33 years for experienced cabin crew.
- Height: Minimum 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male).
- Weight: Must be proportionate to age and height.
- Skin: Clear skin, with no visible marks or tattoos while in uniform.
- Fitness: Medically and physically fit for cabin crew duties.
- Swimming: Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is beneficial.
- Must possess good general health with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Fluency in Arabic is preferred.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience as cabin crew or in customer service within the airline, aviation, or hospitality sectors is considered an asset.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Must be able to work shift patterns and extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Must be capable of successfully contributing to and delivering on established policies, procedures, and KPIs.
