Air Arabia Cabin Crew Position

Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew member acts as Air Arabia's ambassador, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. This role encompasses providing excellent customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the flight cycle. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to operational efficiency, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct:
- Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights.
- Participates in pre-flight briefings to ensure understanding of flight details, role distribution, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, and other relevant information.
Safety Measures:
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures to be followed, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to take corrective action in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Reports any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain promptly.
Customer Service:
- Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft log book as per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Provides consistent, exceptional customer service, attending to passengers' pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to relevant policies and procedures detailed in the Operations Manual and other instructions.
- Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charitable services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reporting:
- Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment before takeoff, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before departure.
- Ensures orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Participates in post-flight briefing and assessment reports, providing objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting any problems or discrepancies during the flight, closing and sealing duty-free containers.
- Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for the conduct of passengers.
- Performs the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops, and ensuring current license.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements
- Age: Between 20 to 30 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with aid of a flotation device
Qualifications
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
- Fit to fly, with good general health, no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Fluent in Written and Spoken English.
Work Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality Industries is an advantage.
- Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
