Cabin Crew Position at Air Arabia

Job Purpose:
As a Cabin Crew member, you will act as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive brand image. You will deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the entire flight cycle. You will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, efficiency, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Key Result Responsibilities:
Conduct and Safety:
- Ensure timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and compliance with legal requirements for assigned flights. Attend pre-flight briefings to receive flight details, role assignments, targets, security procedures, boarding protocols, and other relevant information.
- Instruct passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their well-being and comfort at all times.
- Identify potential safety and security risks and collaborate with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective measures in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administer first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly inform the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer Service:
- Welcome passengers and assist with boarding formalities, accurately recording data in the aircraft logbook as per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers by addressing their pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identify and assist passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Contribute to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensure proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
Crosschecking, Reports, and Maintenance:
- Conduct pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment are available prior to take-off. Report any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
- Assist in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before departure.
- Ensure orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Complete post-flight briefing and assessment reports, adhering to established policies and procedures. Provide objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, report any problems or discrepancies encountered during the flight, and close and seal duty-free containers.
- Account to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and assume the responsibilities of the "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- Maintain professional and safety knowledge and remain competitive by participating in recurrent training, emergency procedure training, educational workshops, and by ensuring their license is up-to-date.
- Contribute to the team effort by achieving assigned sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 and 30 years.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male).
- Weight: To be proportionate to age and height.
- Clear skin with no marks or tattoos visible while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages):
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable for this position; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
- Fit to fly, with good general health, no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Must be fluent in Written and Spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience as a cabin crew member or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/ or Hospitality industries will be considered an advantage.
- An active cabin crew license is a plus.
- Ability to work in shift patterns and for extended hours.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Proven ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
