Career Overview and Job Purpose
A distinguished aviation operator is seeking highly professional and type-rated Pilots to assume responsibility for conducting assigned flights. The successful candidate must operate strictly in accordance with the detailed provisions of the Company Operational Manual and in full compliance with all related regulations mandated by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA).
The Pilot is entrusted with ensuring ultimate safety, security, and operational efficiency throughout all assigned flights. This pivotal leadership role requires the Pilot to effectively support and guide the flight and cabin crew, competently manage emergencies and ad-hoc scenarios, and exercise full control over the aircraft to guarantee successful performance and project a positive corporate image.
The incumbent flies the aircraft between designated destinations according to approved flight plans and given schedules. The Pilot acts as the ultimate responsible authority for the aircraft during assigned duties, consistently prioritizing the following key factors: Safety, Operational Efficiency, and Passenger Comfort, in that order.
Qualifications, Experience, and Mandatory Requirements
Candidates must demonstrate comprehensive operational experience and hold valid regulatory qualifications to meet the demands of this challenging role.
- A minimum of 750 flying hours accumulated specifically on the Airbus A320 Family aircraft.
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) is strongly preferred.
- The applicant must hold valid operational licenses, a valid Class 1 Medical certificate, and a current Instrument Rating (IR).
- Mandatory Valid English Language Proficiency (ELP) certification at Level 4 or above.
- Candidates must successfully pass all technical, psychometric, and comprehensive Medical Fitness check-up assessments in adherence to both Company and GACA standards.
- Proficiency in Aircraft systems and competency in modern digital tools, including Microsoft Office, Internet, and web search functions.
- Exceptional proficiency in English, encompassing verbal communication, written correspondence, technical report writing, and presentation delivery.
- Maximum age limit of 50 years at the time of application submission.
Desirable Training and Competencies
- Training in safety and emergency response procedures is essential; a formal qualification is considered a significant advantage.
- Prior experience gained while flying for a low-cost airline is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Completion of formal Crew Resources Management (CRM) Training is an advantage.
- Basic training covering Airport security procedures and relevant regulations is advantageous.
- Familiarity with IATA principles and standards relating to aviation security is preferred.
Important Application and Eligibility Note
Preference will be given to Saudi Nationals who hold a current A320 type rating and a valid GACA license. Non-Saudi Nationals who fully meet the stipulated requirements and are currently based within Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries will also be considered for this opportunity.
