Essential Role Requirements

Prospective B737-NG Captains must meet the following stringent qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid EASA, ICAO, or FAA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
  • A current B737-NG Type-Rating.
  • English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 minimum.
  • A minimum of 4000 hours of total flight experience on aircraft types exceeding 27 tonnes.
  • At least 500 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time on the B737 aircraft.
  • Recent flight experience on the B737, having flown the type within the last six months.
  • Candidates must be resident in either Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) or Ankara Esenboğa (ESB) or willing to relocate.

Application Process

  4. Attend a comprehensive 3-4 day assessment in Istanbul, which includes a company interview, a simulator assessment, and a medical evaluation.
