AeroLogic: Commander (m/f/x)
AeroLogic, a modern cargo airline established in 2007 as a joint venture between DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo, is based at Leipzig/Halle Airport (LEJ/EDDP). Operating a state-of-the-art fleet comprising 25 Boeing 777F aircraft, AeroLogic primarily serves key destinations across Asia and the USA. The airline maintains a daily connection to Hong Kong and frequent flights to cities including Bangkok, Singapore, Shanghai, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Atlanta.
The Flight Operations department is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Commander (m/f/x) to join their team.
Responsibilities:
The Commander will be responsible for performing industry-standard duties associated with long-range line operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of cargo.
Requirements:
Prospective candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Hold an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) issued by an EASA member state.
- Possess a valid and current Multi-Pilot Aircraft (MPA) type rating on an aircraft with a maximum take-off mass of 10,000 kg or more, along with a valid and current instrument rating.
- Maintain a valid medical certificate issued by a physician approved by the relevant authority.
- Accrue a minimum of 6,000 hours on Multi-Pilot Airplanes (excluding simulator hours).
- Accumulate a minimum of 4,000 hours on aircraft exceeding 150 tonnes Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW).
- Possess a minimum of 1,000 hours in Command on MPA jet aircraft exceeding 50 tonnes MTOW.
- Hold the legal right to work and reside within the European Union.
- Demonstrate mandatory fluency in spoken and written English.
