Job Description

The ATR Captain is responsible for the safety of the aircraft, its occupants, and any property carried therein. The Captain supervises and supports the First Officer, promoting an atmosphere of optimum crew cooperation. They are also responsible for promoting and implementing the company's Safety Management System (SMS) to prevent accidents. The Captain ensures adherence to all operational procedures and checklists, in accordance with the Operations Manual. In emergency situations requiring immediate decision and action, the Captain will take any action deemed necessary in the interest of safety.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 4000 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum 500 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours on ATR 42/72 aircraft.
  • Valid ATR Type Rating.
  • ICAO Level 4 English Proficiency.
  • Valid Class One Medical Certificate.
  • No history of accidents or incidents.
  • Must hold a passport allowing free worldwide travel.
  • Must be eligible to live and work in the EU.
