AeroLogic Seeks Experienced Commanders for Long-Range Cargo Operations
AeroLogic, a dynamic cargo airline founded as a joint venture between DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo, is seeking experienced Commanders to join their Flight Operations team. Based at the modern Leipzig/Halle Airport, AeroLogic operates a fleet of 21 Boeing 777F aircraft, serving key destinations across Asia and the USA, including Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Shanghai, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Atlanta.
Position Summary:
The Commander will be responsible for all aspects of flight operations during long-range cargo flights, adhering to the highest industry standards and ensuring the safe and efficient transport of cargo.
Responsibilities:
- Execute all duties and responsibilities inherent to the role of Commander during long-range line operations, in accordance with established industry practices and AeroLogic procedures.
Requirements:
- EASA-issued ATPL with a valid and current MPA type rating on an aircraft with a maximum take-off mass of 10,000kg or more.
- Valid and current Instrument Rating.
- Valid Medical Certificate issued by an authority-approved physician.
- Minimum 6,000 hours of MPA flight time (excluding simulator hours).
- Minimum 4,000 hours of flight time on aircraft with a MTOW exceeding 150 tons.
- Minimum 1,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command experience on MPA jet aircraft with a MTOW exceeding 50 tons.
- Legal right to work and reside within the European Union.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
