ASL Airlines Ireland Seeks Experienced B737 First Officers for Long-Term Cargo Operation Assignment in Germany

The Opportunity:

ASL Airlines (Ireland) is seeking experienced B737 (300-900) First Officers for a long-term assignment supporting cargo operations based in Germany. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading aviation group while operating on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

The First Officer will assist the Commander in the safe and efficient execution of all flight operations. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Adhering to all Company Standard Operating Procedures, including procedures specific to the B737 aircraft type.
• Fostering a positive and collaborative cockpit environment to ensure clear communication and cooperation amongst crew members.
• Proactively identifying and communicating any potential oversights in flight preparation to the Commander.
• Maintaining continuous and independent monitoring of the aircraft's geographical position and safe terrain clearance, providing timely advice and information to the Commander to ensure the safe and efficient conduct of the flight.
• Actively seeking clarification and guidance from the Commander as needed to effectively fulfill the First Officer's responsibilities.
• Demonstrating a high standard of professionalism, discipline, and appearance as a representative of ASL Airlines.
• Supporting the Commander in promoting a culture of professionalism and excellence within the crew.
• Ensuring the validity of the operational flight plan and filing the Air Traffic Services Flight Plan as required.

Candidate Profile:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Minimum 500 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 250 hours on CS-25 aircraft (200 hours for approved course graduates).
• Valid EASA-issued ATPL or CPL with Instrument Rating (IR).
• Ability to convert to an Irish Licence.
• B737 (300-900) type rating.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 minimum.
• Class 1 medical certificate.
• Eligibility to live and work in the EU.
• Ability to reside within 90 minutes of the assigned base in Germany.

Assessment and Selection:

The selection process will involve:

• AON Pre Assessment Test.
• An in-person assessment in Dublin, Ireland, which includes:
  • A personnel interview (HR and Flight Ops) – approximately 45 minutes.
  • A pre-simulator briefing.
  • A simulator assessment in a B737 simulator – 45 minutes as Pilot Flying (PF) assessing basic handling skills, CRM, and flight management.
