Position Overview

The First Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of cargo flights. Working closely with the Captain, the First Officer will adhere to Company Standard Operating Procedures and maintain a constant focus on safety and airmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct all flight duties as assigned by the Captain, adhering to aircraft-specific procedures, limitations, and performance standards.
Foster a positive and collaborative cockpit environment conducive to effective communication and teamwork.
Proactively identify and communicate any potential oversights in flight preparation to the Captain.
Ensure safe navigation by continuously monitoring the aircraft's geographical position and terrain clearance, providing timely advice and assistance to the Captain.
Actively seek clarification and information from the Captain to effectively fulfill all assigned duties.
Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct, discipline, and appearance as a representative of ASL Airlines UK.
Support the Captain in fostering a culture of professionalism and maintaining a high level of crew morale.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 500 hours total flight time.
Minimum 250 hours on CS-25 aircraft (or 200 hours for approved course graduates).
Valid CAA-issued ATPL or CPL with Instrument Rating (IR).
B737 (300-900) type rating.
ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 (minimum).
Class 1 medical certificate.
Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
Current UK residency is mandatory, as the base of operations will be within the UK.
