Minimum Candidate Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 4,000 hours of cumulative flight experience is required.
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: Candidates must possess at least 500 hours of PIC time in the relevant aircraft type.
- Type Rating: A valid type rating for the aircraft operated by AJet is mandatory.
- Specific Flight Experience: A minimum of 1,000 hours of flight experience must be accumulated on aircraft types exceeding 27 tons.
- License Qualification: An Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) is a prerequisite for this role.
- Accepted License Holders: AJet is open to candidates holding licenses issued by DGCA (Turkey), EASA, FAA, and ICAO.
- Medical Certification: A current Class 1 Medical Certificate is essential.
- English Language Proficiency: Candidates must demonstrate an ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level of 4 or higher.
- Visa Sponsorship: Please note that visa sponsorship is not provided for this position.
- Additional Eligibility Criteria:
- High school graduation is the minimum educational requirement.
- Candidates must not have received any formal written reprimands related to flight failure or indiscipline.
- A clean criminal record, free from any criminal history or records, is required.
- Successful candidates must accept the company-determined base location and establish residency there.
- For candidates holding a 'blue card', fluency in spoken and understandable Turkish is a mandatory requirement.
- Successful completion of the final pre-employment examination conducted by AJet's workplace physicians is a critical component of the hiring process.
- Candidates must not have failed any previous training or control flights with Turkish Airlines or its subsidiary companies.
- Individuals who have previously been terminated from employment with THY AO or its subsidiary companies are not eligible.
