Captain Heavy Jet - Tulsa, OK
Williams is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Captain to operate heavy jet aircraft, ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of flights. The Captain holds final authority in the operation of the aircraft and is responsible for compliance with all applicable Federal, State, local, and foreign regulations, as well as company policies and procedures outlined in the IS-BAO operations manual. This individual serves as the most visible representative of the company to passengers, requiring them to act with tact, decorum, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Responsibilities:
- Acts as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of assigned flights, providing exceptional customer service to passengers.
- Adheres to schedules and directives governing aircraft operation; ensures timely and accurate pre-flight inspections.
- Analyzes weather conditions at departure, arrival, en route, and alternate airports; prepares flight plans accordingly.
- Ensures the aircraft is clean, well-prepared, and stocked with necessary provisions for passenger safety and comfort.
- Utilizes checklists and cockpit resource management techniques; supervises the First Officer in essential operational duties.
- Coordinates crew functions, supervises performance, shares knowledge, and evaluates crew member potential.
- Makes informed decisions regarding flight commencement, delays, and deviations from planned routes or destinations as needed.
- Adheres to the EH&S management system framework for safe work practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Required: Some college coursework or an Associate's degree, along with a minimum of four (4) years of related experience, including three (3) years as Captain and/or PIC.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree; experience with C750 and G280 aircraft.
Other Requirements:
- Demonstrates exceptional organizational, interpersonal skills, and prioritizes safety above all else.
- Has successfully logged 4,000 total flight hours, with a minimum of 1,000 hours of turbine time.
- Possesses an Airline Transport Rating (ATR) and a valid FAA First Class Medical certificate.
