Position Summary
Walmart is seeking a highly skilled and professional First Officer to join its Aviation team. The First Officer will be instrumental in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, contributing to the team's commitment to providing exceptional air travel experiences. This role demands strict adherence to regulatory standards, operational procedures, and a strong collaborative spirit within a dynamic aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities
The First Officer will be responsible for:
- Providing passengers with safe, timely, efficient, and flexible travel experiences, accommodating amenity needs, and communicating timely information regarding any schedule changes.
- Preparing and operating aircraft in strict compliance with all federal, state, local, and foreign regulations, as well as the Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Flight Operations Center (FOC) directives, aircraft manufacturers' requirements, and Walmart's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Fostering positive relationships across various Walmart Aviation teams, including Scheduling, Standards and Training, Flight Operations Center, Safety, Maintenance, Administrative, and Ground Support, through open communication, collaborative problem-solving, and shared commitment to operational objectives.
- Actively debriefing flight errors and successes, practicing rigorous flight discipline, and continuously striving to improve flight skills and knowledge.
- Conducting thorough SOP briefings with both crew and passengers to ensure collective understanding and adherence to operational protocols.
- Demonstrating and applying up-to-date aviation expertise, offering expert advice and guidance, and supporting the development and execution of action plans that align with customer and business needs.
- Contributing to the implementation of business solutions by building strong relationships with key stakeholders, identifying operational needs, executing necessary processes, monitoring progress, capitalizing on improvement opportunities, and adapting to evolving demands.
- Modeling compliance with all company policies and procedures, embodying Walmart's mission, values, and ethical standards in all aspects of business planning and execution.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must possess:
- A Commercial, Instrument, and Multi-Engine Pilot Certificate with an English Proficiency endorsement.
- A valid, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) First-Class Medical Certificate.
- A minimum of 2,000 flight hours.
- Eligibility for a valid passport.

Compensation & Benefits
Walmart offers a competitive compensation package designed to support the well-being and professional growth of its associates.
- Annual Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $220,000.00.
- Additional Compensation: Includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
