Purpose of Position
The Pilot is responsible for providing a superior air transportation experience with a steadfast commitment to safety on every flight. As the face of NetJets, the Pilot provides technically accurate transportation while delivering a concierge-level service experience for every owner and passenger. The Pilot acts as the final authority on the aircraft, maintaining professional standards and effectively balancing roles as both an aviator and an in-flight service provider.
Tasks and Responsibilities

Operate the aircraft safely during taxi, take-off, and landing in accordance with FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets manuals (FOM/AOM), and SOPs.

Greet passengers, provide trip briefings, verify itineraries, share weather updates, and deliver safety instructions.

Execute in-flight service, including the handling of alcohol and catering requirements.

Load and properly stow passenger baggage.

Conduct flights for passengers traveling with pets or those who smoke.

Serve as the final authority on the aircraft regarding safety, regulatory compliance, and all operational areas.

Act as a liaison between passengers and NetJets from initial FBO arrival through final destination departure.

Communicate maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and complete all associated documentation.
Education and Certifications

Education: High School Diploma.

Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification.
-
Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
-
FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
-
Valid United States passport and valid State driver's license.

Flight Experience Requirements (IAW 61.160):

At least 21 years of age.

Must meet FAA ATP or R-ATP requirements: 1,500 total flight hours (or 1,250 with university R-ATP; 1,000 with military qualification; or 1,000 with university R-ATP).

200 hours cross-country flight time (>50 nm).
-
250 hours fixed-wing PIC.
-
100 hours of night flying (or 75 hours with at least 45 night takeoffs and landings).

75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight).
-
50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
Additional Qualifications:

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction.

Must be able to pass TSA background screenings and secure necessary airport/US Customs security badges.

Capable of working flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary Range:
$86,015 - $117,706
